    Zodia Custody is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Onboarding Manager to join our expanding team in the financial services sector. As a company focused on institutions, registered by the FCA, and specializing in digital asset custody, Zodia Custody aims to empower financial institutions, corporations, and professional investors to explore the vast potential of the digital asset landscape on their own terms. Established in 2020, Zodia Custody merges the agility of a startup with the rich history of a 167-year-old financial entity, Standard Chartered, in collaboration with Northern Trust and SBI.

    As the Onboarding Manager, you will have a crucial role in ensuring a seamless customer onboarding and account setup process. Your responsibilities will include working closely with clients to grasp their specific needs, guiding them through the onboarding journey, and delivering outstanding customer service. Moreover, you will collaborate with various departments such as sales, legal, compliance, and operations to uphold regulatory standards, streamline internal procedures, and enhance customer experiences.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise the onboarding process, starting from initial client contact to account setup and activation
    • Establish strong client relationships and act as the primary contact for onboarding queries
    • Comprehend clients' requirements for digital asset custody and offer customized solutions
    • Work closely with the sales team to grasp client needs and ensure a smooth transition from sales to onboarding
    • Perform due diligence and Know Your Customer (KYC) checks on new clients, ensuring compliance with regulations
    • Collaborate with internal teams to collect and review client documentation, resolve issues, and address client inquiries
    • Develop a deep understanding of Zodia Custody's products, services, and operational procedures
    • Identify areas for process enhancement and contribute to refining onboarding methods and systems
    • Provide training and support to new onboarding team members
    • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory updates in digital assets and custody services
    • A Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
    • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in onboarding or client relationship management within financial services
    • Knowledge of digital assets, cryptocurrencies, and blockchain technology
    • Familiarity with regulatory requirements concerning digital asset custody
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with diverse teams
    • Detail-oriented approach with excellent analytical and problems-solving abilities
    • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant tools
    • Professional certifications in financial services or digital assets (e.g., CFA, CFP, CCA) would be advantageous
    • Willingness to adapt and learn in a rapidly evolving industry
