We are a national NDIS provider, delivering Allied Health support in over 300 locations across Australia to thousands of participants in the community with Occupational & Speech Therapy, Behaviour Support, Psychology, Exercise Physiology & Pysiotherapy services.

Job Description

Our multidisciplinary team provide supports to NDIS participants living in the Blacktown area would welcome an experienced Occupational Therapist looking to make a difference in their local community.

On a daily basis you will be:

Managing an allocated paediatric caseload and completing therapeutic services in a timely manner
Assessing participants emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
Providing therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based and help participants get more out of life
Providing support and advice on adaptations to the environment including home, school, work and residential facilities
Recommending the provision of Assistive Technology to assist participants with their functional limitations and to promote independence
Maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance

Qualifications

To be considered suitable you will have:

Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
Experience in the NDIS sector and a genuine passion for working in the disability sector
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Well developed time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
Confidence to work independently
