About the Role Hume Bank is seeking applications from suitably experienced individuals to join the Board as a Non-Executive Director.

Joining an existing team of experienced Non-Executive Directors, you will help shape the strategic direction of Hume Bank and ensuring that the appropriate governance obligations are being met.

About you We are looking for individuals who:hold Membership of Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) (or an equivalent) and can become a graduate within two years of appointmenthave prior experience as a Non-Executive Director, including an understanding of the role of a Non-Executive Director, as well as the legal, ethical, fiduciary, and financial responsibilities that applyhave deep and sustained personal connection to Hume Bank Home Markets and the wider local community in which we serve, including currently residing in the regionhave a demonstrated understanding of regional economic and socio-cultural context to contribute to key strategic decisionshave demonstrated experience and track record in a professional capacity that illustrates strong financial acumen in order to effectively contribute to the future strategic direction of and assist with corporate governance requirements of Hume Bankdemonstrate key competencies and personal attributes, per the position description For this appointment, experience in the banking or financial services sectors would be valued but is not mandatory.
