    What You Will Be Doing Senior Medical Staff are valued members of the leadership team at Peninsula Health committed to upholding values of the organisation and meeting our goals.

    The Senior Medical Clinician delivers safe, evidenced based person centred care to a defined group of patients and clients within their scope of practice.

    They also act in a supervisory and, mentoring capacity for Registrars, Hospital Medical Officers (HMO's), Senior Medical Officers, Medical Students and their allocated patients.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provision of specialist anaesthetic services including pre on postoperative care within your credentialed scope to patients of Peninsula Health.
    • Teaching of trainees.
    • Participation in departmental activities including preadmission clinic, quality assurance and collaboration with other departments.
    This is a part time position commencing in February 2024.
    Full time may also be considered for this role.

    What You Need We anticipate you will have:

    • Specialist registration with AHPRA.
    • FANZCA or equivalent.
    • Relevant track record and experience in clinical management.
    • Sound clinical knowledge, skills and experience in contemporary medicalevidence-based practice.
    • Ability to work as an effective member of a multidisciplinary clinical team.
    • Teaching skills.
    • Patient safety and quality review knowledge and skills.
