About the client
Exciting news on the horizon Our client is expanding their manufacturing footprint, signaling a momentous leap forward in both scale and productivity.

Based in Helidon, our client plays a pivotal role in securing the future of mining through the production and supply of cutting-edge explosives and blasting systems.

Start your journey with a comprehensive training program spanning the first 2 weeks, conducted during the day shift from 7am to 3:30pm. Upon graduation, welcome the exciting challenge of a fortnightly, 7-day rotating roster, featuring shifts from 8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am

Are you our next Production Operator?
Although experience in operating machinery in assembly or manufacturing is a plus, we equally value individuals with outstanding hand-eye coordination, a knack for working efficiently, and a dedicated focus on safety. Your skills might just be what sets you apart.

• Are reliable and respectful towards others
• Demonstrate a positive and motivated work ethic
• Attention to detail is a must with a high level of accuracy
• Be willing to learn and be trained for success
• Mechanical aptitude is an advantage
• Must be able to display a high level of dexterity
• Able to obtain an SSAN police clearance.
• A driver's licence and reliable car is a requirement for this role

About the role

• This role will focus on running the EBS machine and associated work stations
• Set up and operate equipment in accordance with work instructions & procedures
• Loading coiled wire onto machinery
• Crimping of detonators onto wire assembly
• Packing assembled product in to boxes in required formats
• Quality & inspections and recording
• Perform basic mathematical equations and basic report writing
• Ensure all operations are performed to procedures and WHS and environmental requirement
