ABOUT Barrow Island
Barrow Island is located around 60 kilometres from the mainland and approximately 139 kilometres west of the Port of Dampier. It's also home to Chevron's Gorgon Project and WA Oil operations. It is the largest oil field discovered in Western Australia. Ertech has been a major service provider to Chevron Australia's Gorgon Project for over 10 years.
Barrow Island provides excellent on-site accommodation including meal services, as well as gym facilities (mixed and separate gyms available for men & women with a variety of fitness classes to choose from), sporting facilities including a football field, golf stimulator, bike hire, 2 swimming pools, basketball court, tennis court and a cricket pitch

This role is a Permanent full-time position based on Barrow Island on 2/2 FIFO roster.
We have an exciting new opportunity for a HSE Officer (Environment) to join our dynamic team based on Barrow Island. This role would suit a recent University Graduate.
The HSE Officer (Environment) will be responsible for minimising environmental risks and ensuring compliance with contractual environmental specifications, environmental legislation, regulatory requirements and Ertech standards.
Reporting to the Environment Advisor, the role will also assist in providing guidance to all personnel in the areas of environmental programs, training, corrective actions, issues and successes. You will have delegated authority to stop work and lead/support corrective actions where hazards have been identified until risks are adequately controlled.
