Base Salary: $74,470 - $82,855 (p.a.)

Total Effective Package: $93,499 - $102,934(p.a.)*

Aboutthe Role

The NDIS Aboriginal Community Connector works within aculturally secure framework to ensure there is culturallyappropriate connection between the National Disability InsuranceAgency (NDIA) and Aboriginal community members. This position is acritical contributor to Congress' NDIS services and support acrossall Congress town and remote communities, and will require travelto Congress serviced remote sites.

To be considered for this position, you willrequire:

• Is of Aboriginal descent, identifies as an Aboriginalperson, and is accepted as an Aboriginal person by the Aboriginalcommunity. Ensure cultural safety, have knowledge of localAboriginal communities
• Have the ability to cultivate and grow professional,meaningful working, respectful relationships with clients and theirfamilies, particularly Aboriginal people withdisability
• Strong written and oral communication skills, includinghigh level demonstrated ability to use a computer for data entry,case note recording
• Current Northern Territory or Australian Driver'sLicence
