    Description

    Our client is a highly renowned Disability Services Provider focusing on supporting those with disabilities across Victorian communities to achieve their goals and live independent lives. They require a project manager professional who aligns with their values and can be instrumental improving internal processes and procedure to improve quality across their property portfolio of Community Hubs, and Specialised Disability Accommodation in Victoria. This is an initial 6-months opportunity with ongoing potential thereafter.

    Key responsibilities:
    Working within the property and facility division of this passionate organisation. Bring your skills to help improve processes and procedures, work alongside experts and help refine their services

    • Design and implement forms and processes to improve the prioritisation of capital works projects. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to streamline decision-making and allocate resources effectively.
    • Facilitate effective communication between internal teams and external contractors throughout the delivery process. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives.
    • Impact Assessment on Facility Operations: Analyse the impact of capital works projects on facility operations. Implement strategies to mitigate risks and optimise outcomes.
    • Establish standard requirements for assets and develop protocols for their maintenance. Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements to maximize asset lifespan and performance.
    • Capital Works Planning and Implementation: Draft comprehensive plans for capital works projects, outlining timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project execution.
    • Develop clear guidelines on how to submit projects for consideration, ensuring clarity and consistency across the organisation.
    • Assist with relocation processes and oversee property maintenance to enhance asset value and functionality.

    About you:
    Are you a passionate and highly organised Project Manager with a background in property and facilities who can assist a disability service provider elevate there internal processes and procedures? It's a fabulous opportunity to make a genuine difference.

    • Proficient understanding of Project Management Frameworks, encompassing governance structures, project phases, and control measures.
    • Exceptional relationship management and organisational skills.
    • Strong analytical skills for assessing and evaluating project requirements, including the application of risk management matrixes.
    • Competent in managing project variations and adept at financial reporting, with a comprehensive grasp of financials.
    • Ability to comprehend project life cycles, including remodelling and relocations. Experience in scoping works and managing capital expenses is advantageous.
