    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Provides digital modelling on styling programs by creating 'A' surfaces from 2D sketches, scan or CAD data. This data shall meet the designer's intent and engineering criteria supplied and can be successfully released for production or concept launch.
    • Develop high quality 'A' Class CAD surface models from either 2D drawings or CAD/scan data. This is achieved by working closely alongside the creative designer.
    • Develop 'A' Class CAD surface models within the criteria package provided and highlighting any feasibility concerns. The latest approved data should be used to construct the CAD models. This is achieved with strong liaison with studio engineer.

    Selection Criteria:

    • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Industrial Design or equivalent is an advantage.
    • Minimum 10 years preferred in Alias 'A' Class digital modelling of OE external and internal automotive parts. A prior background in engineering part design or automotive tool design would advantageous.
