    • Flexibility to be based anywhere on the East Coast
    • PV/BESS design and review, liaison with NSPs/AEMO, on site support
    • Travel to site required for short periods

    About the Company

    I'm representing an experienced Solar PV/BESS operator in their search for a Project Electrical Engineer.

    About the Role

    You will be responsible for assisting in the engineering and delivery requirements for utility scale solar PV and BESS projects. You will have some experience in PV design and design review, be willing to support the grid connection process as well as providing on site support when needed. The role can be based anywhere on the East Coast and you will be fluent in Mandarin.

    Responsibilities

    • Project engineering support for solar farms and BESS projects
    • Electrical design of BESS and knowledge of key technologies such as: PCS, BMS, EMS and SCADA etc
    • Project tender concept/early design input, scope and technical specification development, equipment specification, estimation, project schedule development and other related tasks
    • Assist with the grid connection process with the NSP's and AEMO
    • Supervising on site and commissioning assistance

    Skills & Experience

    • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
    • Experience in utility scale solar farm / BESS projects
    • Proven ability to input to the solar farm EPC design process
    • Knowledge in planning, scope documentation, estimating and project scheduling
    • Willing to travel to various remote project sites
    • Mandarin Speaking
