Our clients are a market leading manufacturer in the FMCG sector and they are looking to bring on a Field Operations Manager to help manage a small team of drivers. Having achieved/exceeded budget numerous times in recent years, this is a fantastic opportunity for a driven leader to come in to a business that can offer solid career progression. The role will be split between he field and the office 3/2 days per week.

The role: Working as the Field Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the leading, coaching and upskilling of a small team of drivers covering NSW, ensuring they are building relationships and engaging with customers as well as upselling and providing recommendations where possible. You will focus on safety, fatigue, route planning and fleet management. You will carry out deliveries, cover holidays, be prepared to work overtime in peak seasons and be able to recruit when needed.

Success profile: We are looking for a strong leader with a track record of improving culture and team performance. You will have some experience with logistics/fleet management and ideally have the ability and openness to want to further develop your sales acumen. You will also need to hold/be able to obtain a Medium Rigid License.
