- Advise support staff of any issues.
- Reporting of safety incidents and reporting to your supervisor, any hazards identified.
- Reporting any quality concerns to supervisor.
- Inspection of your own work and entering dimensional information into database.
- Ensuring all technical matters are handled in a professional manner.
- Actively assisting any safety, and continuous improvement programs.
- Ensure any defective materials are quarantined for a non-conformance report to be generated.
- Conduct a detailed hand over to the opposite shift to enable them to continue work safely and effectively.
- Ensure that workstations clean and orderly, in line with 6S principles
- Completion of pre-start safety checks and machine TPM checks.
- Trade qualification in Machining and a minimum of 2 years' experience in manual and CNC machine operation
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as risk assessments, operating procedures and component drawings.
- Able to read and fully understand engineer drawings.
- Able to work with minimum supervision and independently.
- Apply production techniques.
