- Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and assemble pumps, pump systems, and accessories both in the workshop and in the field.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop and surrounding areas.
- Commission and evaluate variable speed drives, motor interfaces, control systems, and monitoring systems.
- Utilize app and tablet-based reporting technology to complete tasks and generate lead information for internal sales teams.
- Offer expert advice to customers on system shortcomings and provide solutions to prevent future issues.
- Collaborate with management to address service and warranty matters effectively.
- Oversee and approve electrical works conducted or supervised.
- Consult with in-house technical support staff on complex issues.
- Prepare comprehensive service reports and ensure timely submission.
- Record product quality issues in company systems.
- Assist in project execution, including installation support, commissioning, and contractor engagement.
- Maintain worksites in alignment with sales orders and service agreements.
- Provide feedback to relevant stakeholders, including sales, operations, and customer service.
- Collect technical information from sites for our equipment database.
- Pursue continuous learning and development to enhance service capabilities.
- Demonstrate proficiency with specialized service tools and equipment.
- Uphold Grundfos core values and take responsibility for actions, supporting colleagues, partners, and customers.
- Foster teamwork and open communication.
- Conduct safety assessments before commencing tasks.
- Deliver service-related product training and technical support to customers, partners, and colleagues.
- Report safety, health, and environmental concerns.
- Travel within Australia as required.
- Provide phone-based technical support in collaboration with the Customer Service Team.
- Adhere to Company, State, and Federal OH&S, and EEO laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Contribute to achieving company goals, targets, and strategies.

- Experience with electrical/mechanical hydraulic systems, pumps, and rotational equipment.
- Full qualification as an Electrical Supervisor/Electrician in Queensland or equivalent.
- Possession of a valid Australian driver's license.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the industry or comparable environment.
- Knowledge of pump technology, hydraulics, controls, and variable speed drives preferred.
- Accountability, reliability, promptness, and punctuality.
- Strong organizational and results-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience using information platforms such as SAP is advantageous.
- Proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work within service processes or projects.
- Willingness to assist in parts and equipment shipment and delivery.
