- Experience working with data for a number of years who should know at least one scripting language such as VBScript, JavaScript, PHP, Perl or Python as these languages are often data centric and knowledge of one or more is required for the migration work to be completed. For example migrating a VBScript in DSE to JavaScript in IB.
- Knowledge of regular expressions as these are used heavily in the data transformation scripts.
- Experience with MS SQL Server or any relational database that translates to creating databases, tables, writing complex SQL queries and developing and running data transformation jobs.
- Experience with LDAP either with administration of an LDAP service or programmatically accessing LDAP services, as there is a lot of work with migrating LDAP heavy connections, therefore experience with LDAP Filters and troubleshooting LDAP related issues.
- Ability to use Google and Internet resources to fault find and derive a suitable solution.

Description
We have a unique opportunity to with one of our Federal Government client's, assisting the team to migrate the current environment to their new server fleet. All the work is focused on the data related services and migration from the extant capability to the new servers and implementing them on modern software platforms.
Much of this environment is built on MS SQL server and bespoke scripts and batch driven middleware application developed over two decades addressing an ever-changing environment. As such, the environment has a number of MS SQL versions and data transformation methods that requires migration and transition to the upgraded server platform.
