    About the role:

    As a Communications Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our client's communication strategy. You will be responsible for driving an outstanding customer experience by embedding a customer solution-focused environment. Your role will involve managing various publications preparing communications for customer and stakeholder newsletters, writing speech notes for Executive and Board members, preparing external award submissions, sourcing stories for publicity, offering advice on media enquiries, and developing communications strategies that respond to complex or sensitive issues.

    • You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability in generating publicity, managing media, and writing high-quality communications to diverse audiences.
    • Your well-developed interpersonal skills will enable you to engage effectively with a wide variety of people.
    • Additionally, your problem-solving skills and lateral thinking will be key to your success in this role.
    • A satisfactory National Criminal History Record
    • Tertiary qualifications in Communications or Public Relations, or other related business discipline
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
