    Head of MarketingOur Group:
    Locals Co is a family-owned and operated group of unique hospitality venues in Western Australia.
    Our approach is simple and drives every decision we make – the needs of our local community.
    We believe the pub is an important part of local life.

    Our venues serve as a familiar place where locals can get together to relax and socialise, no matter what the occasion.

    We take great pride in our responsibility to the local communities we represent and are proud of what our venues stand for.

    We have five high-volume food and beverage venues some of which also operate in liquor retail and accommodation.

    We are continuing to expand our group with our sixth venue under renovations and due to open later this year, as well as several other exciting projects in development.

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced marketing professional to join our Perth-based head office team and help us continue to grow successfully and sustainably.

    Effective communications are key to getting our message to our locals.
    You will run long-term marketing initiatives as well as day-to-day promotions.
    You will continue to develop strong existing brands and help build meaningful and long-lasting new ones. You will help us successfully launch new ventures and maintain a dedicated internal marketing team.
    You will head up an existing team including a social media coordinator and two external graphic designers.

    You will take over from our existing Marketing Manager who is leaving for new adventures while there is a solid structure in place the role will eventually be yours to define.

    Your team will work within the broader operations team at Locals Co, based at our Subiaco office.

    Because some of our venues are in the South-West there will be weekly travel requirements to maintain vital face-to-face contact with the venues and their stakeholders.

    Develop brand strategy in line with group vision.
    Plan and execute all marketing efforts within brand strategy.
    Overseeing and executing social media marketing strategy and content marketing, including community management, customer feedback and customer communications.
    Researching and understanding demand for our venues from our locals.
    Database development and management.
    Competitor research and analysis.
    Developing and managing advertising campaigns, real world and online.
    Execute promotion of major events by venue events team.
    Overseeing PR for major communications including.
    Creation of all marketing collateral.
    Understanding and developing budgets, including expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
    Communicating marketing plan to all internal stakeholders.
    Develop relationships with venue team, and develop and train venue champions to assist in day-to-communications.
    Coordinating relevant external contractors; brand, graphics, photographers and others as needed

    About you:
    You are an experienced Marketing professional.
    You are driven, focused and an excellent communicator.
    Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and for multiple stakeholders.
    Hospitality industry knowledge.
    Experience in a similar role.
    Police check no more than 6 months old.
    Portfolio of prior work.
