    Your Opportunity
    We currently have an opportunity for a Supervisor with a genuine interest to positively influence construction crews and promote a memorable culture to join our project teams working on a 2/1 FIFO roster to our project sites in WA.

    Reporting to the Project Manager, your overall responsibility is to provide onsite leadership coordination and oversite of the construction workforce including direct labour, subcontractors, and plant, ensuring all construction works are executed safely, efficiently, and effectively meeting client, HSE, quality, time, budget, and contractual requirements.

    As a Supervisor, you will be accountable for:

    • Support the Project management to champion a culture of high performance onsite
    • Demonstrate strong and visible supervisor skills through your behaviours, effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Provide input into the manning schedule to ensure adequately skilled and qualified candidates are planned for the project and take lead on the technical aspects of the job requirements during interviews
    • Proactively manage employee performance and conduct thorough performance discussions
    • Ensure agreed work program requirements are met for each component of the project and report variances to Senior Project Manager
    • Support the Construction Manager, Superintendent and Engineers to formulate, review and monitor work program(s) and programs for each section of work to be completed
    • Monitor and control costs within your remit, particularly direct costs of plant and labour ensuring optimisation of available resources
    • Effective communication, information flows, procedures and records necessary to facilitate delivery of contract and quality requirements
    • Manage QC testing making sure it is conducted as per client's specification
    You will have the following:
    • Previous experience as a Supervisor on large construction projects with a contractor overseeing various Civil works
    • Demonstrated experience working in a FIFO/DIDO capacity
    • Excellent planning, monitoring and documentation skills
    • Demonstrated safety and environmental leadership behaviour
    • Self-starter, with well-developed organisational and stakeholder management skills
    • Prior experience managing direct labour, subcontractors and plant crews
    • Flexible and be able to work under pressure and to deadlines
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with the ability to problem solve
