Description

This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by executing assurance reviews and utilising data analytics to identify potential weaknesses in the control environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilise coding and data analytics tools to conduct in-depth analysis of transactional data, identify risk event patterns, address issues, and incorporate complementary or divergent data sources
• Create internal dashboards to present insights for assurance reporting to risk committees.
• Formulate scenarios for thorough examination and analysis according to the data sets' contents.
• Foster an innovative culture conducive to continuous enhancement and refinement of data analysis methodologies.
• Provide timely and top-notch data analysis across all phases of the assurance process.
• Contribute to end-to-end assurance reviews by employing data interrogation methods and evaluating processes.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years in risk, compliance or internal audit.
• Demonstrated proficiency in SQL or intermediate-level Python.
• Demonstrated ability to use data interrogation techniques, analytics, and AI tools to develop insights into risk and control environments.
• Proven communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders and management.
