    About You

    This role will suit someone who has been involved within transport & distribution and or an internal / onsite recruitment of blue-collar positions in a high paced environment and possess:

    • A solid understanding of Transport industry requirements and equipment i.e.
      • Truck Drivers HR / HC / MC.
      • Pick Packers / Loaders
      • Forklift Operators –yard, warehouse & reach operators.
    • Strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously.
    • Good time management, organisational and coordinating skills as no day is the same.
    • Have excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels -Can deal with Drivers, Forkies and Senior Managers.
    • Be flexible in terms of working hours and changing priorities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication.

    We have an exciting opportunity for a strong, enthusiastic, energetic and experienced Blue-Collar Recruiter to join the business. We are looking for someone with a resilient personality, who understands road transport warehouse equipment, the operational impact driver availability and suitability has on the business and the issues associated recruiting within the logistics industry. You'll thrive on dealing with all types of Operators, HR to MC Linehaul drivers , forklift and warehouse reach operators, whilst also working directly with the hiring managers and senior management.

    Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Writing and posting job adverts inclusive of social media
    • Pre-screening resumes and phone screening applicants
    • Coordinating VOC assessments (truck and forklift)
    • Organising and conducting interviews with managers
    • Reference checking
    • Booking medicals
    • Coordinating first day on-boarding process of new employees
