We are seeking to appoint a Kindergarten Teacher at Our Lady of the Rosary Kindergarten in Kenmore. Our Lady of the Rosary Kindergarten in Kenmore is a 22 place Kindergarten located within school grounds, and is one of over 130 Catholic Early EdCare services and part of the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane operating in South East Queensland.

At Our Lady of the Rosary we have expansive natural outdoor play areas which provide children with a unique learning environment that encourages creativity and exploration. Rosary Kindergarten is a place where every child's curiosity is celebrated, their imaginations soar, and their love for learning grows every day. We provide a warm, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore.

Hours: 38 hours per week, but work term time only (40 weeks per year)

As our ECT you will:

• Create engaging educational kindergarten programs
• Provide children, families and team members with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment
• Deliver a high quality, inclusive, educational program
• Participate in professional and personal development
• Ensure all programs, observations, evaluations and portfolios are maintained
• Ensure the environment is engaging, challenging, interesting and aesthetically pleasing
• Ensure that all policies and procedures, licensing, legislation and regulations are upheld
• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values.

What you will need:

• An ACECQA approved Graduate Diploma, Bachelor or Masters of Teaching (Early Childhood)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) from the Queensland Government
• Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
• Position may require being the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the Director
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, Behavioural Management Framework and National Law/Regulations
• Conversant with Early Years Learning Framework & the QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines
