  • About the role

    We are looking for a motivated, safety conscious Project Planner – Drilling & Earthworks to plan, maintain, communicate, and track progress of near mine and remote drilling and earthworks projects that support the delivery of the Geoscience and Water Resource Evaluation 5-year plan technical objectives.

    The scope of work you will be accountable for is challenging and diverse. Your demonstrated ability to engage, connect and positively influence key stakeholders at all organizational levels will play a critical part to the effectiveness in this role.

    This exciting role enables the projects by ensuring there are appropriate land access approvals in place, funding is approved, detailed project scopes delivered in a timely manner, resourcing requirements assessed & understood, data management systems updated, approved accommodation demand inputted and implementing risk mitigations strategies.

    Reporting to the Senior Planner and working in a diverse team within the Resource Development Planning department, you will bring a proactive approach with a strong commitment in driving a safe working culture. You will also bring strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, knowledge of project systems (including Primavera P6, SAP or MS Project) and project management experience within a mining, drilling and / or earthworks background. You will be capable of performing detailed data analysis and reporting using advanced features of Excel, and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate project metrics effectively. Contractor Management and/or Map software experience is desirable.
