    Minimum qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • 5 years of experience in a matrixed organization with multiple organizations and stakeholders with differing demands and priorities.
    • Experience in consulting, program management, and stakeholder engagement.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • MBA, Master's degree or other post-graduate degree.
    • Ability to work with others, be a creative thinker, and work in a globally distributed cross-functional environment.
    • Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management.
    • Excellent communication skills.

    Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google's functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.

    Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.

    In this role, you will be working closely with the Product and Engineering executives of Payments Platform and other executives to drive organization wide strategic initiatives, business operations, and communication.

    Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead annual strategic planning including defining organization priorities and objectives and key results and ensure resources are deployed to initiatives.
    • Craft compelling strategic narratives for the organization. Drive overall communication plan to bring the organization/team and cross-product area partners along.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive key business cadence (e.g., QBRs, OKR reviews, etc.), executive meetings and leadership offsites.
    • Manage and help leadership prioritize resources effectively to enable success business outcome.
    • Connect across the organization to multiply and help make the organization/leadership team more effective. Drive a wide range of high impact projects, developing business cases and driving strategic decisions.
