Contract Length:12 months contract + 2 x 12 months contractLocation:ACT |Work environment:HybridCandidate must be Australian Citizen and hold a Baseline Security Clearance minimumJoin our federal government client team for an exciting opportunity as an Automated Test Engineer in the Design Revitalisation Project As an Automation Test Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in identifying automation scope, building test frameworks, and executing test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing

Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of automation scope and test framework developmentCreate and manage test data for a high-quality testing environmentReport automation results and identify defectsWork within an agile framework and adapt to changing project scopesEnhance and improve the current Automated frameworkContribute to the training of other testers and project members

Key Technologies:

Jenkins PipelinesSelenium/Java and Serenity BDDMultiple database technologies (My SQL, Postgres, Oracle)REST APIs using Java-based API Testing Frameworks like Rest AssuredMandatory CriteriaMinimum 5 years of automated testing experience with at least 1 year in performance testingStrong hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, Jenkins, and Git HubExperience with Java development and REST API testing using frameworks like Rest AssuredExcellent communication skills and ability to contribute to trainingThe application deadline for this role is 22/04/2024.
