    Description

    Full-time underground electrical maintenance opportunity available at competitive market rates.

    We are seeking an experienced Underground Electrician to join our skilled maintenance team in remote Australian operations.

    The Position

    The successful candidate will work under the guidance of an Underground Electrical Supervisor and be responsible for electrical maintenance, testing, inspections, breakdowns, and installations.

    Key Requirements

    • No less than 12 months experience in underground electrical work.
    • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Familiarity with mobile/electric drills and their operation.
    • Understanding of underground communication systems, including leaky feeder, Wi-Fi, and fibre optic networks.
    • Knowledge of current electrical legislation and regulations.
    • Able to plan daily work schedules effectively.
    • Current electrical license and high voltage switching certification (within 2 years).
    • C Class Australian drivers license and ability to obtain national police clearance.
    • Valid working at heights certification or ability to obtain.
