    About the role

    WorkPac are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager for our client based in Nathan, Brisbane. The successful candidate will oversee traffic processes, design schemes, and assist in civil projects. Bring your expertise in compliance and project management to ensure safe and efficient roadways.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain project management documentation including ongoing review and updating quality, safety, environmental and traffic management plans, project registers
    • Assist with project procurement activities and site inductions for Responsive Maintenance Contract (RMC) staff and subcontractors
    • Review subcontractor site specific project management documentation
    • Undertake internal auditing and inspection of RMC project quality assurance, safety and environmental plans and site specific documentation to ensure the RMC continues to meet RoadTek certification and prequalification requirements
    • Assist in the coordination of RMC delivered minor works projects
    • Review and update RMC Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGSs) for currency and assist the project manager with development of site specific TGS
    • Regularly review RMC policies, works procedures, SWMS, technical specifications etc to ensure the RMC is consistent with RoadTek and TMR technical standards and associated road maintenance practices
    • Maintain RMC Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) standards including updating product information as required and ensuring that all RMC products are stored as per manufacturers requirements

    Skills and experience required

    • Construction White Card
    • Valid Queensland "C" class driverâs license or equivalent
    • Traffic Management Design (TMD) qualifications or ability to obtain
    • Ability to work a shift work if required
    • Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) qualification - must be able to provide 2yrs experience
    • Project administration experience
    • Experience with designing, implementing Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) and Traffic Management Plans (TMP)
    • Have a working knowledge of the AGTTM, QGTTM, AS1742.3, MUTCD Part 3, Guideline - Traffic Management at Works on Roads, QLD guide to traffic management, Traffic Management for Construction or Maintenance Work Code of Practice, MRTS02 (Technical Specifications and Annexure) & TMR Technical Notes
    • Qualifications or experience in Internal Auditing and/or Certificate IV Workplace Health and Safety
