    ABOUT THE COMPANY.

You will be liaising with internal and external Stakeholders, undertaking flood studies and flood risk management plans in accordance to NSW Flood Policy.

    ABOUT THE POSITION.
    As a Flood/Stormwater Engineer based in South Western Sydney you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of flood studies, floodplain risk management studies and management of flood management and stormwater design projects, ensuring all deadlines are met.

    DUTIES.

    • Undertake detailed stormwater, flood and water quality designs and reviews
    • Manage consultants, ensuring projects meet deadline and adhere to budgets
    • Provide flood and stormwater advice for properties and developments
    • Prepare technical briefs in relation to projects in accordance with legislations


    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.

    • Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
    • Extensive knowledge of GIS systems, with a good understanding of TUFLOW modelling
    • Exposure in stormwater and floodplain projects
    • High level of attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
