    The Opportunity

    This is a rare opportunity for an experienced and detail focused Legal Secretary (Legal Assistant) to join our Projects, Energy and Infrastructure (PEI) practice group on a full-time basis.

    As Legal Assistant, you will play a key role in providing high level support to Partner Anthony Ellis. Anthony is a global leader, advising governments, sponsors, developers, and lenders with large scale power (including renewables) and water projects in the Middle East, Africa, the US, Asia, and Latin America.

    Key responsibilities:

    You day-to-day will involve however not be limited to:

  • Managing the billing process for your direct team including clients with specific billing requirements.
  • Organising and managing travel arrangements.
  • Managing Partner's internal and external appointments with appropriate meeting lead times including travel and diary management.
  • Assisting with meeting preparation and the coordination of post meeting actions.
  • Coaching and mentoring team Administrative Assistants.
  • Coordinating and managing a broad variety of responsibilities and deliverables.
  • Skills & experience:

    To be successful in this role, you will also have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Legal Assistant (Legal Secretary).
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Strong matter management and billing experience (Aderant Expert) is essential.
  • Ability to anticipate Partner requirements to reduce administrative time.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
