    About the Role

    As our Senior Manager Sanctions & Screening here, you'll be the linchpin in our defence against Financial Crime. This role is critical in overseeing the sanctions and screening activities within the BOQ Group, ensuring compliance with both domestic and global regulatory requirements.

    This role will report directly to our General Manager of Financial Crime Operations and will be responsible for strengthening the Group's risk profile and importantly, safeguarding our employees, customers, and communities. Some of the key objectives in this role will include leading the development and implementation of procedures and controls related to financial crime sanctions and screening, ensuring that all relevant components of the AML Program are fully implemented – including oversight of PEPs and Adverse Media screening, as well as adherence to sanctions requirements.

    We are seeking a proactive, strategic leader with a comprehensive understanding of financial crime sanctions and screening. You'll join us with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective procedures and controls in this domain – yes, your expertise will be vital in ensuring that the components within our programs of work are executed flawlessly. As a senior leader, you'll join us with sound leadership skills where you will lead, coach, and drive significant teams, and your ability to navigate and influence across the Group will be key to your success in this role.
