Description

We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer with ideally 5 years + local consulting experience. Our client specialises in the commercial, residential, and industrial sector. Therefore, the successful candidate will have proven experience working on projects such as mixed-use developments, schools, high residential, and industrial development building projects.

Education and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Minimum Bachelor of Engineering in Structural/Civil.
• Minimum 5 years' structural engineering experience gained within a consultancy environment is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in the design of projects in the residential, commercial, retail, and industrial sectors.

Skills and Personal Attributes:

The successful candidate should possess:

• Sound knowledge and application of Australian Standard design codes, relevant design techniques, and construction procedures and techniques.
• Experience in the use of software such as RC Buildings, Space Gass, Rapt, Slabs, PT 3D, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills as these are essential for client liaison.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and liaise with the drafting team, fellow engineers, architects, and design managers.
• Proven track record of working to tight deadlines and within budget.
• Enthusiastic and committed to facilitating client needs.
