    About the Role

    This role is a full time, permanent position (35 hours per week). Based in Cabramatta.


    This role will work with families and children from all ages, with a focus on 0-3 years old with multiple risks to provide and coordinate services and supports delivered to them under the Targeted Earlier Intervention Programs (TEI) in Fairfield and Bankstown local government areas.

    Day to day you'll deliver a range of parenting programs, information sessions and any relevant activities and casework to father's and their families to achieve and sustain healthy family relationships and improve child safety


    Responsibilities include:
    Intake and assessment over the phone and face to face
    Short term casework for vulnerable father's and their families
    Facilitate educational workshops to promote healthy and positive relationships for fathers and their families

    Partner with stakeholders, relevant networks, Indigenous and ethno specific organisations, to identify service gaps and design programs or advocacy to delive3r these needs.

    About you

    Relevant qualification with at least 2 years casework experience
    Demonstrated experience and skills in conducting intake and assessment
    Knowledge and understanding of child protection and experience working within the child protection framework
    Experience in providing casework to fathers, families and children
    Demonstrated facilitation skills

    Ability to engage fathers from diverse backgrounds and cultures, and work in partnership with them to achieve their goals and address child safety concerns using evidence-based models.
