Established for over fifteen years, this Australian owned business has grown year and year and due to continued growth requires additional accounting resources to support their growth.

Your Responsibilities You will be overseeing the Brisbane Accounts Payable team (currently 2 growing to 3) and the Philippines team (currently 3).

Along with managing the AP team on a day to day basis, it will also involve taking on a range of AP projects.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to; Implementing an expense management tool "Pro Spend".
AP process improvement from the branches through to Corporate.
Improve processes with Procure to Pay.
Assist with consolidating payroll with the 10 acquired companies to one unified pay process and payrun.
Lead the AP team to ensure the day to day duties are completed on time.
Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Your Background We are ideally seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Leaderwith the following skills and experience; Experience within a high volume accounts payable environment - ideally high inventory focus - industrial/ building and construction industries preferred.

Leadership and management experience in running AP teams locally and offshore.
Prior OCRexperience essential (Redmap preferred, however will be trained).
Prior experience in ERP Finance system (Pronto) also advantageous.
Customer service focused - ability to communicate effectively with branch network and suppliers.
Resilient character - used to or adaptable to a changing environment.
Hands on, "can do" attitude.
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
