    Company Overview:

    Our client, a leading organisation in the energy sector, dedicated to innovation and sustainability, is seeking a talented Cloud Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in enhancing their technology landscape.

    They are continuously leveraging cutting-edge technology to optimise operations and drive business growth, and rapidly enhancing their presence in the Queensland Energy market

    Position Overview:

    As a Cloud Business Analyst, you will work across three main work streams including a large cloud uplift/ transition, a procurement SOW and a companywide OCM stream. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyse and document business requirements, review MSA's and contracts as well as application assessment and stakeholder engagement.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business requirements.
    • Utilise strong technical understanding to translate business needs into technical specifications, user stories and use case documentation.
    • Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
    • Work with Procurement SMEs on RFPs.
    • Work on a large cloud uplift/ refresh in Microsoft Azure.
    • Create detailed training strategy & related OCM documentation
    • Perform system testing and validation to ensure the quality and reliability of implemented solutions.

    Requirements:

    • Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant field.
    • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst or similar role within the energy sector or similar (heavy industries).
    • Strong technical background.
    • Experience in modernization, transformation and/or cloud migration environments.
    • Experience in a formal procurement process.
    • Organisational Change Management practice exposure
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Experience with Operations support teams / ITIL will be highly regarded.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
