    About the RoleThe role of the Specialist Employment Mentor will focuson supporting Ex-Offender or Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islandercustomers by providing intensive mentoring to ensure their transitioninto employment is successful and sustained.

    This role is being offeredon a full time, ongoing basis and will be based at Geraldton.

    You'llalso experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9-dayfortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week.

    Youwill still receive the remuneration of a full-time employee inaddition to the ability to salary sacrifice. This challenging rolewill be a well sought-after opportunity so we encourage you to submityour application at your earliest convenience.

    About YouTo besuccessful in the role you will be able to demonstrate:

    Stronginterpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

    Ability to workeffectively with a culturally diverse range of clients, employers andstaff;High level of interpersonal skills with an ability to representWorkskil Australia to our customers, funding bodies ,employers, RTOs,Indigenous Communities and other stakeholders;Sound knowledge of thelocal labour market;An understanding of case managementframework;Sales and customer service experience;Extensive workingknowledge of federally funded Employment Programs and fundingmodels;Experience mentoring Indigenous customers inemployment;Experience in working with ex-offenders in an employment orrehabilitation setting;Proven ability to work in an outcome based,high pressure environment, positively and with enthusiasm;You willalso be required to have:Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite(Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and ability to type (minimum 30 words perminute)Certificate IV in Employment Services or CareerDevelopment(Preferably) or willing to studyHold a current driver'slicence and have own vehicle with the willingness to travel across theregion.

    It would be advantageous for the preferred candidate toidentify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait islander or have extensiveexperience working with customers within this cohort.
