Spotlight on the Role

We are looking for a skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at the Silverchain group of companies. Situated at our Headquarters in Osborne Park and reporting to the General Counsel, you will be tasked with offering general legal and risk management support to Silverchain's national operations.

You'll play a key role as a facilitator and a collaborative member with a dedication to utilizing your expertise to influence the evolving landscape of intricate health and aged care services at home for all Australians.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years post-admission experience
• Advanced legal expertise in corporate / commercial law and corporate governance
• Preferential background in aged care or health law
• Solid negotiation abilities and adept at nurturing relationships across all levels of the Silverchain Group
• Experience supporting multifaceted commercial transactions, such as strategic alliances, technology deals, and M&A, will be valued
• Robust experience in governance frameworks, policies, practices, and strategies for a multifaceted and varied organization
• Background working in an in-house setting is advantageous
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to express confidence and clarity
• Well-organized and methodical with exceptional attention to detail
• Effective problem-solving skills and the drive to work independently and responsibly
• Capable of thriving under pressure and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
