    About the Role:
    As the Specification Sales Manager, you will engage with new and existing clients in the NSW and ACT region, offering them guidance across design and installation solutions.

    You will have a proven track record in business development and sales within the construction/architectural industry and the ability to solution sell to a variety of architects, consultants, builders and other stakeholders.

    This is a permanent full-time role that involves approximately 60% architectural selling (including CPD and formal presentation requirements) and 40% consultative sales around Design and Construction.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Identify project opportunities that support the new products to market, defend product specifications against substitution.
    • Align project opportunities with market segments, products, and sales targets.
    • Provide timely market intelligence to internal stakeholders and manage CRM data accordingly.
    • Capture strategic projects in Sales Force CRM, ensuring all relevant information is recorded.
    • Identify and actively engage key external influencers to ensure Danpal product specification.
    • Build collaborative relationships with external customers, educate customers in our products and systems
    • Influence Danpal strategic direction from industry and customer feedback.
    • Prepare and provide technical advice and provide glazing solutions around the Danpal brand proposition.

    About You:

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with architects, consultants, builders, and external stakeholders.
    • Proven track record in sales and business development, particularly in the construction/architecture industries.
    • Ability to identify and pursue project opportunities, defend product specifications, and convert non-Danpal specifications.
    • Technical expertise in building solutions, particularly with a thorough understanding of the Australian building industry, construction processes, and relevant regulations and standards is a must have.
    • Experience in managing CRM data and capturing strategic projects.
    • Adaptability and resilience to navigate a dynamic and competitive market environment.
    • Have thorough understanding of the National Construction Code and AS/NZS Standards, technically astute with system-based building solution experience.
    • Have a good understanding of the supply chain from specification to fulfilment.
    • Possesses an understanding of fire acoustic and energy efficiency with the ability to offer solution selling within the building envelope.
