    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.4 years of experience in general software programming with Java, C/C++, Python, Go, database design, and SQL.Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently.


    Preferred qualifications:
    Experience working with Android platform and applications, mobile OEM and carrier partners or other distribution partnerships.
    Experience with Android application or platform development.
    Experience with Android development in Kotlin and/or Java.
    Ability to understand complex written and verbal technical details.
    Ability to deliver results in a team environment.

    About the jobAs a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners.

    You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners.

    From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

    You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with.

    You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

    As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will partner with our largest OEM device manufacturers to ensure our joint business needs are met and our customers have the highest quality experience using Google Photos.

    Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently is required to support client relationship management.
    Google Photos is a photo sharing and storage service developed by Google.

    Photos is one of the most sought after products at Google and is looking for both client-side (web and mobile), with server-side (search, storage, serving) and machine intelligence (learning, computer vision) Software Engineers.

    ResponsibilitiesBe the APAC business and technical local point of contact for existing and prospective, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and internal partners.

    Produce necessary documentation and technical guidance to ease a partner's integration, and manage cross-functional and external communications.
    Coordinate with business development and internal partners on OEM request prioritizations.
    Analyze technical application performance metrics, and provide mitigation plans in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
    Provide OEM partner feedback and insights to Google Photos cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Design, and Marketing.
