    We are seeking highly experienced professionals to join our Research Contracts and Agreements Team as EL 1 Contracting Managers. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic contractual and procurement advice to all areas of the Defence organisation.

    Key responsibilities will include developing, implementing, reviewing, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures relevant to research procurement in Defence. You will also be responsible for managing key stakeholder relationships, meeting stakeholder expectations, and communicating best practices in procurement and contract management.

    This role requires in-depth knowledge of procurement and contracting functions, as well as the ability to negotiate and draft complex research agreements with oversight and support from senior colleagues.

    To succeed in this role, you must have excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, as well as a passion for self-improvement and professional growth.

    Desired skills and experience include providing high-level procurement and contracting advice, negotiating and drafting complex research contracts, and understanding the value of partnerships and working collaboratively.
