    The Opportunity

    The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 200,000 residents including several rural communities.

    ED PHO locum shifts available in Childers QLD.

    You'll be working with a terrific team of energetic and welcoming professionals and gain valuable experience in a well-run ED offering a variety of presentations.

    The Location

    The region boasts a diverse range of water and land activities to explore in your time off. Childers, where the facility is based is a 45 min drive from Bundaberg.

    Indulge in the region's fresh local produce, seafood and iconic drinks and enjoy endless stretches of family-friendly beaches and nearby national parks where you can camp, fish, swim and surf the day away. Bundaberg is the gateway to the Southern Great Barrier Reef and has an enviable year-round climate. The city boasts excellent shopping, sporting, cultural, education and tourism facilities including Mon Repos Turtle Rookery.

    Essential Criteria

    You must be AHPRA registred and have a genuine passion for Emergency Medicine.
