    • Up to $13,000 reimbursed relocation cost may be available

    Overview

    You will provide mental health nursing services to consumers of the Limestone Coast Mental Health Service. Providing proficient, person-centred, clinical nursing care and individual case management, you will monitor consumer care plans to ensure appropriate care outcomes are achieved on a daily basis. You will be working within pre-determined guidelines in a multidisciplinary primary health care setting to assess consumers, select and implement different therapeutic interventions/support programs, and evaluate consumer progress. You will accept accountability for your own practice standards, activities delegated to others, and for the guidance and development of less-experienced staff.     You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practicing certificate along with a relevant postgraduate qualification in Mental Health. Demonstrating a commitment to providing consumer and family centred care, you will be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a mental health setting. Prior experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, Enrolled Nurses and less experienced Registered Nurses/Clinicians will be beneficial. Your effective communication skills including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills will hold you in good stead for this role.
