    Our client, a prestigious State Government Department in the Health sector, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Manager for their Revenue Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, management and strategic direction to the Revenue Control, Debt Recovery and Private Practice administration teams.

    What you'll do:

    You will lead your team in providing high quality, patient focused account processing ensuring patients financial journey is seamlessly managed from end to end. Your ability to operationalise the strategic direction of the own source revenue function will ensure revenue is maximised and revenue leakage and debt write-off is minimised. Your expert advice on strategic revenue opportunities will be invaluable in driving our operations forward.

    • Lead the revenue transactional function ensuring timely, accurate and reliable capture of information.
    • Provide high quality, patient focused account processing ensuring seamless management from end to end.
    • Operationalise the strategic direction of the own source revenue function maximising revenue and minimising leakage and debt write-off.
    • Provide advice on strategic revenue opportunities and related changes in legislation.
    • Contribute to own source revenue policy development pertaining to inpatient services.
    • Build a framework for continuous review of all systems and business processes, identifying efficient processes and implementing relevant changes.
    • Promote and implement the use of technology to drive revenue improvement.
    • Maintain a range of key performance indicators demonstrating efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
    • Foster a culture of whole finance working arrangements, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement and learning.

    What you bring:

    • Demonstrated knowledge of private patient regulatory requirements, understanding of Medicare requirements, patient billing activities, referral processes and experience in managing revenue strategy related projects within a hospital environment.
    • Highly developed communication and interpersonal competence including capacity to negotiate, resolve conflict positively influence others, and drive innovation.
    • Understanding of developing and managing an effective team which supports delivery of efficient health services.
