THE OPPORTUNITY

Stratco's Hervey Bay facility, the logistics hub for the Wide Bay region, is seeking an experienced Logistics / Despatch Supervisor to support growing demand across the region. This role is critical to ensuring efficient scheduling, loading and delivery of customer orders as the business continues to expand.

This position suits a practical, confident leader with proven experience managing end‑to‑end despatch workflows, particularly scheduling production and customer orders through to vehicles and drivers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, schedule and coordinate customer orders through to vehicles and drivers
  • Ensure all orders are loaded and delivered on time and in full
  • Oversee allocation of yard staff, drivers and trucks to meet daily and future demand
  • Ensure sufficient staffing levels to meet workload requirements
  • Locate finished goods and oversee safe, accurate vehicle loading
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and yard organisation
  • Ensure compliance with Stratco safety, quality and operational procedures
  • Participate in toolbox talks and team meetings
  • Support training and safe use of plant and equipment

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience scheduling despatch workflows through to vehicles and drivers
  • Experience in a despatch supervisory role, ideally in manufacturing or building products
  • Strong communication and people leadership skills
  • A customer‑focused mindset with a drive to deliver reliable outcomes
  • The ability to prioritise competing demands and meet tight deadlines
  • A structured, process‑driven approach to work
  • Experience with vehicle loading operations
  • Forklift licence (essential)
