Job Description

As a Packaged Gas Scheduler, you will be responsible for organizing packaged gas deliveries in a specific geographic area based on optimal distribution planning and cost management, taking into account legal and operational constraints while achieving high standards of safety, quality and efficiency.

You will also be a pivotal player in maintaining the transport data in the system and routing tool to ensure process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Organizes deliveries to clients and distributors
• Improves safety, quality and efficiency of the distribution
• Ensures respect of transportation regulations and AL's safety standards
• Monitors operational KPIs for improvement and reduces non-quality costs
• Identifies improvement fields by simulating new dispatch schemes with the routing tool
• Proposes solutions and implements them in coordination with the sales team
• Controls the efficiency of the routing tool
• Analyzes client needs in collaboration with order takers and sales teams
• Proposes the best solution and communicates it to order takers who will inform clients
• Avoids unnecessary deliveries and costs while answering the actual needs of the clients
• Checks the consistency between transport invoices, planning and execution
• Analyzes gaps and informs the Cylinder Dispatch Manager for litigation management

Requirements

• 1-3 years experience in the field of transport planning and scheduling
• Understanding of Dangerous Goods Transport (ADG)
• Strong knowledge of computerized systems and programming (Excel/Google Sheets)
• Knowledge of logistic or freight operations
• Strong analytical and critical problem-solving ability
• Tenacity, resilience, and conflict resolution skills
