- Routine and preventive maintenance sandblasting duties on mechanical equipment including machinery, structural steel and platework such as chutes and tanks
- You will be familiar with all types of abrasive media and the application of masking and other methods to protect specified areas from unwanted abrasive action and the ingress of sand
- Specialised sandblasting projects including large structures in severe corrosive environments
- Inspections, clean ups, storage and disposal of sandblasting products
- Extensive experience working as a Sandblaster
- Previous experience in an engineering or mining environment is highly advantageous
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
- Able to pass Medical and Drug & Alcohol tests
- Practical communication and team building abilities
- Ability to work in remote locations
- Current WA drivers' license. A HR License would be advantageous, although not essential
