    Job Description:


    My client is currently seeking a skilled and passionate Solar & Renewable Energy Engineer to join the dynamic team in Sydney.

    As an integral part of the consultancy, you will play a pivotal role in designing, analyzing, and implementing solar energy systems for a diverse range of clients.

    You will work collaboratively with their multi-disciplinary team to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions that meet their clients' energy needs while reducing their environmental footprint

    Responsibilities:
    Conduct detailed solar and BESS resource assessments and feasibility studies to identify suitable sites for solar energy installations.
    Design and engineer solar PV systems, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
    Perform technical analysis and modeling of solar projects to optimize energy generation and system performance.
    Develop engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation to support construction and procurement activities.
    Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery, including coordination with contractors, suppliers, and vendors.
    Evaluate and select appropriate solar technologies and components to meet project requirements, cost-effectiveness, and performance targets.
    Conduct on-site inspections and commissioning activities to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
    Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and policy changes related to solar and renewable energy.
    Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams, addressing inquiries and resolving technical challenges.


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
    Master's degree is a plus.
    Minimum 3 years of experience in solar and renewable energy engineering, preferably in a consultancy or project-based environment.

    Utility Scale project experience in Australia is a mustStrong knowledge of solar PV technologies, grid integration, and relevant industry standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC).Proficiency in solar energy modeling software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope) and design tools (e.g., Auto CAD).Understanding of electrical system design, power electronics, and grid connection requirements.

    Familiarity with Australian regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements for solar energy projects.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    Passion for renewable energy and a commitment to sustainability.
