The Role

An exciting opportunity exists to be part of a dynamic team that supports the procurement function across Council. The role requires coordination of procurement events, compliance monitoring against Councils policies and procedures as well as the provision of detailed analysis of spend data, tendered offers and other statistical and financial data and reporting.
About you
Are you confident, articulate and a team player that can build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
We seek an experienced procurement officer with a qualification in procurement and contracting or business procurement or an equivalent discipline or a minimum 3 years demonstrated experience working in a multi faceted procurement environment on a range of categories including works, goods and services.
You aren't afraid to try new things and innovate when a creative solution is required. You work autonomously or as part of a group to deliver great results in a regulated framework.
