    Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane CBD location Hybrid Office/work from homeThe purpose of the Senior Pricing Advisor role is to develop and integrate end-to-end pricing capability and insights across Commercial Insurance short tail products.

    Products covered within our team include Commercial Fleet, Corporate Property, Construction, Engineering, etc.
    This role would encompass assisting team performance to maximise effectiveness in a dynamic environment, lead pricing initiatives.
    Deliver exceptional stakeholder service through collaboration with Portfolio; collaborating with other teams and external consultants; remove blockages to performance; escalate issues; and look for ways to simplify processes

    What you'll do:
    Develop pricing recommendations and proposals designed to closely align pricing strategy to budget and accurately implement timely price changes
    Lead pricing and senior pricing analysts to model products, deliver high level premium adequacy reviews and monitor performance
    Lead pricing initiatives to explore, develop both internal and external data/modelling capabilities
    Provide pricing support to broader strategic and/or regulatory projects and transformation
    Ensure appropriate risk management is followed
    Collaborate with Commercial & Consumer Pricing Managers and Portfolio Managers to deliver business objectives

    What you'll bring:
    Minimum of 5 years of general insurance experience, working closely with end to end solutions
    Strong knowledge of Commercial insurance products and key pricing and business drivers
    Experience in Actuarial IBNR/IBNER models and understanding of an insurance P&L.
    Advanced analytical skills - ability to develop solutions and courses of action by using an information base to identify key issues, compare with other data and determine cause-effect relationships
    Knowledge of, and experience in, using SAS, Excel, R and other programming skillsets
    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to guide other team members
