      Are you able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team? Are you a senior Registered Nurse looking to step into a management position? Then this role is for you We are currently looking for an Assistant Nurse Unit Manager - ANUM to join the Urology/Vascular ward in a full-time capacity. As an ANUM – your responsibilities will include:
      • Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous improvement
      • Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes.
      • Provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based.
      • Be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resources
      • Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
      • Undertaking direct patient care, as required
      • Mentoring of staff

Backed by the latest technology and expertise, we offer 15 theatres, including a hybrid theatre, diagnostic cardiology, two cardiac cath labs and capabilities for cardiothoracic surgery, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, urology and more. All supported by a soon to be expanded coronary care unit and intensive care unit. About You
      • Current Registration with AHPRA
      • Working with Childrens check
      • Current or previous ANUM or clinical nurse specialist experience (desirable)
      • Sound clinical knowledge
      • 3 years of clinical/surgical experience
      • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
      • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
      • Positive role modelling behaviours
      • Ability to work across a rotating roster of AM/PM/ND shifts
      • Excellent customer service focus, time management and prioritisation
