    The Emergency Department are looking for a Clinical Nurse Consultant to join their team.

    The CNC EAGLE is a senior level clinical, responsible for facilitating the patient journey through the Emergency Department, interhospital transfers and inpatients admissions to ensure that it is as efficient and timely as possible.

    The role also aims to support staff delivering care in the department ensuring clinical barriers, which may impact timeframes for patients discharge or admission, are eliminated.

    About the Role

    Responsible for clinical leadership for Emergency nursing services through the application of advanced clinical knowledge, skills and competency according to contemporary practice and standards of care.

    Utilise advanced, effective communication, negotiation skills and influence the culture towards a common vision, direction and ethical framework.

    Participate in the strategic development of a work based culture that promotes contemporary evidence-based practice through education, learning, research and workforce development.

    Accountable for delivery of contemporary nursing practice, patient outcomes and the achievement of associated service performance targets/indicators within the Emergency nursing speciality.
