    About the Role

    South Coast Radiology (SCR) is looking a CT Lead Radiographer to join our team at Pindara Private Hospital in Benowa, Gold Coast which includes fully comprehensive private practice and hospital services in X-Ray, MRI, and Ultrasound to Nuclear Medicine. You will be part of our multidisciplinary team by performing radiographic examinations to provide high quality diagnostic imaging services and patient care to assist in the studies that are referred from clinicians.

    About You

    • AHPRA – Medical Radiation Practitioner Registration
    • QLD Radiation use license
    • Australian Residency – Rights to work in Australia
    • Tertiary degree qualification in Medical Imaging Technology (Diagnostic Radiography)
    • Canon CT experience essential
    • Expansive CT knowledge base which covers CTCA, Angio, high level interventional and complex procedures
    • Ability to train and educate a range of skillsets from new graduates to senior staff.
    • Great communication with colleagues including Radiologists
    • Strong time management and list coordination skills

    Your responsibilities

    The CT Modality Lead reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for:

    • Running 2 CT's daily, scanning inpatients, ED and outpatients
    • Working with the Radiographer In Charge and Regional Manager to constantly improve our service.
    • Supervising technologists in using CT imaging equipment to conduct appropriate examinations.
    • Liaise with Booking Centre to provide education to ensure patient protocols and bookings are performed correctly.
    • Provide training and technical direction to SCR and technologists in the procedures and techniques used in imaging CT examinations.
    • Assisting in troubleshooting all equipment failures and challenges.
    • Ensuring compliance standards are met.
    • Assist in business CPD events and training
    • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all staff.
