Elders Insurance is one of Australia's largest regional and rural insurance services and operates an agency network distributing general insurance products to regional and rural clients.

Elders Insurance Innisfail is the Elders Insurance agency in Innisfail where we currently have an opportunity for an Insurance Customer Service Representative.

This position offers you a development opportunity with potential for career progression with a leading Elders Insurance franchise and a competitiveremuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

The role

As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, the Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in providing exceptional service and ensuring smooth operations. Your friendly demeanor, effective communication skills, and attention to detail will contribute to creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all stakeholders.

You will be fully trained and mentored in company practices. Duties will include:

  • Office administration, telephone enquiries and credit control.
  • Processing and management of insurance quotations, new business, renewals, endorsements and claims.
  • Opportunities to be trained in other areas of the business including sales.

You

To be successful in this role you must:

Have excellent customer service and communication skills (verbally and written)

Be proficient in all Microsoft Office Products and with a high level of general computer skills

Have previous experience in a client facing administrative or sales role

Have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Be reliable

Be flexible, with a can-do attitude, and willing to learn

Have police/ASIC clearance (or ability to obtain)

Have FNSASIC315 Tier 2 Provide General and Personal Advice in General Insurance, or the ability to attain (on-the-job support to obtain this qualification will be provided)

You will also have the following qualities:

  • Concern for quality, accuracy and efficiency.
